That’s over now! Starting today, we’re making your progress visible. Every time you reach a milestone, our system will reward you with experience points (your fuel) and exclusive badges (your completed missions). It’s that great feeling of “Yes, I did it!” when, after an intensive course, the well-deserved badge suddenly pops up on your screen. Your achievements will become a digital trophy collection you can be proud of.

FAQ: Everything You Need to Know About Your Command Center
Since we’ve rolled out a major update behind the scenes, you probably have a few questions. Here are the most important answers:
1. Where can I find my badges and XP?
It’s simple: Log in and go to the new “Command Center” tab in your profile. Here you’ll see your current fuel level (XP), all timeless missions from the learning paths, and special annual missions for 2026.
2. What happens to courses I’ve already completed in the past?
Don’t worry, your past hard work isn’t lost! We’ve programmed the system so that your past achievements in the learning paths are retroactively recognized. So when you open your Command Center for the first time, your tank is very likely already well-filled, and your first badges are already waiting for you! However, it’s possible that certain badges may be awarded with a delay or only unlocked once you receive another badge. Just click on a colored badge to see how you earned it and when you received it.
3. How do I unlock locked (gray) badges?
In your Command Center, simply hover your mouse over a gray badge. You’ll immediately see which specific mission you need to complete to earn it.
4. What do I need the experience points (XP / Fuel) for?
Your XP is essentially the “high score” of your career on PEM. It reflects how active you are on the platform. But here’s a little spoiler: it might be extremely worthwhile to top up your XP regularly in the future. Who knows… maybe at some point, you’ll be able to trade in your collected XP for exclusive surprises or special rewards? So it’s definitely worth collecting diligently! 😉
