With Automic V26, Broadcom has visibly improved the Automic Web Interface (AWI) in several areas. Some changes focus mainly on design, readability and usability, while others provide more information during daily operations or introduce completely new capabilities directly into the interface.

The Automic Web Interface Gets a New Look
Right from the login screen, it is obvious that the AWI in Automic V26 looks quite different from previous versions. Broadcom has refreshed the interface with a stronger focus on readability, contrast and a more consistent user experience.

More InformationOne of the visible changes is the new predefined color palette for connections. Individual customization has been reduced to prevent poor color combinations from negatively affecting contrast and accessibility.
The configured connection color is also much more prominent than before. The entire menu bar now adopts the selected color, while AWI automatically adjusts the font color to keep everything easy to read.

New Status Colors in Automic V26
One of the most noticeable changes in the new AWI is the updated status color system. Long-time Automic users were familiar with the previous color scheme, but it was not always intuitive for new users.

The new color scheme is much closer to what users would intuitively expect: green means successful, red means failed, blue means active and grey means waiting.
This should make it easier for new users to understand the Automic Web Interface at a glance. Experienced Automic professionals also benefit from being able to interpret task statuses more quickly.
Workflow Tasks Show More Information Directly in the Workflow
The Workflow Editor in Automic V26 has also been improved. Workflow tasks are larger and display more information directly within the workflow.

More InformationObject type, task number, name, title and agent were already visible in previous versions. What is new is the direct display of configured task properties.
Identify Properties Directly in the Workflow
For every configured property, AWI now displays a small icon directly on the task. If you configure a Post Condition, for example, the corresponding symbol appears immediately.
This means important task properties no longer need to be found by opening the task configuration first.
More Details on Hover
When you move the mouse over a task, AWI displays additional information and short descriptions of the configured properties.
This improves clarity in larger workflows and can reduce the number of clicks required during daily work.
Time and Dependencies Are Now Separate
The configuration has also been cleaned up in one area. Time and Dependencies were previously combined in a single tab. In Automic V26, they are now available as two separate sections.

The Automation Assistant is connected to the LLM configured for your Automic environment. This requires your administrator to connect and configure a suitable Large Language Model (LLM).
The assistant can work with information from your own Automic environment, including objects, executions and workflows. It can help analyze executions, create filters, troubleshoot issues and support other operational tasks.
Documentation Assistant
The Documentation Assistant works very differently. It has no access to your own Automic environment, but it can use the complete Automic documentation as its knowledge source.
You can use it to search for specific information, ask questions about the documentation, or generate individual step-by-step instructions for certain tasks.
