On August 24, 2026, the era of automic.com will come to an end. Broadcom is migrating documentation, downloads, the Marketplace, and other key resources to new platforms on broadcom.com. This will result in changes to numerous URLs and access paths that many Automic users and administrators have been using daily for years.

Perhaps you regularly use the online documentation at docs.pemautomic.com, download components from downloads.automic.com, or use the Automic Marketplace. If so, you should start preparing for the upcoming migration as soon as possible.

The good news: The content isn’t going away—it’s moving to new Broadcom platforms. The not-so-good news: Not everything will be in the same place in the future, and some familiar tools will be discontinued or fundamentally changed.

The most important sources of information

Broadcom explicitly refers to the Critical Alerts as the “Single Point of Truth” and updates this page on an ongoing basis. In addition, a detailed Customer FAQ (PDF) and two community discussions are available, providing additional information and answers to frequently asked questions.

In the full PEM post, you’ll also learn:

  • Which features are being deprecated without replacement
  • How the migration will affect AWI, Docker Registry, and the Package Manager
  • Why entitlements will play an even more important role in the future
  • Which issues are currently still open
  • How to optimally prepare your environment for the migration using a concise administrator checklist
  • Where to find the most important official resources and additional information

If you work with Automic regularly or administer an Automic environment, this post will help you quickly understand the changes and start the migration well-prepared.
