The Automic Web Interface (AWI) – From V24 to V26

The Automic Web Interface (AWI) is at the heart of daily work with Automic Automation – and it’s evolving continuously.
With the current V24.6 release (already available in the Future Lab on PEM Automic), Broadcom has laid the foundation for a new design.
But the real facelift is coming with Version 26, which brings numerous visual and functional improvements.

In this blog post, we take a look back at the AWI enhancements in V24, provide a preview of the upcoming facelift in V26, and show you how to prepare for the transition.

AWI in V24 – Small Details, Big Difference

With the minor releases of V24, Broadcom has gradually modernized the AWI.
Many of these changes are subtle yet noticeable: an updated user interface, smoother navigation, numerous UX improvements, and new convenience features such as remembering the last opened tab.

In our webinar “AWI in V24: All Updates at a Glance”, which is part of the V24 Upgrade Learning Path, we showcased all these changes in detail – including practical demos.

Outlook for V26 – The Big Facelift Ahead

A major milestone is coming with Automic V26: the AWI is getting a completely new look.
The new interface was first previewed during the Automic Office Hours on October 22, which returned after the summer break with a refreshed format.
Some of the new design elements can already be seen in the SaaS version 24.6, while the full rollout will follow with V26 On-Premise.

The most important new features include:

  • A unified color scheme in blue and white
  • Redesigned icons and status indicators
  • Consistent box sizes in the Workflow Monitor
  • Improved zoom and navigation for large workflows
  • Familiar structure and layout – the new AWI feels intuitive but looks much more modern

The goal: a consistent user experience across Broadcom’s ecosystem, aligning with products such as Rally, Clarity, and AAI.
In short, the AWI is becoming cleaner, more intuitive, and visually more refined.
